Tis the devils work! Some of this old mini DV tape has not survived well..

Thought I'd drag some of my old footage off of tape, and on to Vimeo. Well, that was the idea anyhow! Managed to find the Firewire 800 cable, so off to a good start, but as I say, there appears to be a fair bit of 'dropout' on the first tape. It's a labour of love, and I'm sure it'll be worth it :-)
